OCTOBER 2022 SUPRISE!

What a wild ride since May that we haven't had a chance to update the website with news! You missed out on a lot if you haven't been looking at the tour schedule! There's too many list, so we'll make it short and sweet.

The Almas have a new EP being finished and will be released in 2023 Produced by Kile O'Dell who worked on the #1 Active Rock Mediabase hit "Dead Inside" for Nita Strauss and David Draiman!

Mind of Fury has a full length album ready to be released. CloZure is jumping on tour with Texas Hippie Coalition in November and have amassed over 800,000 YouTube views in 6 months! Undivided Band continues to grow with new shows in Mississippi, Alabama and new parts of Texas!

Daniel Mock has eclipsed 373,000 Tiktok Followers! Jeff Carlson will be releasing a new acoustic EP in January! Shimmer Johnson and Circle The Wolves continue to write new music and performed at the Edmonton Pride Fest in June!

2023 will see MK Music having more involvement in booking SCOTTY AUSTIN, formerly of Saving Abel!

MK Music Grows and Expands

MAY 2022 UPDATE!

Since March 2022, MK Music has had unbelievable the growth. We still mourn the death of Kim and she will forever be a part of this organization. On March 1, MK Music added Gary Koeberl from Wisconsin along with Left of Reason. Since then we've also added a bunch of new artists, including 308 Ghost Train from Cortez, FL, The Undivided Band from Lafayette, LA, Pump 5 (Booking) from Los Angeles, CA, Modern Mimes from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, CC Storm and The Aftermath from Las Vegas, NV, The Alive from Ft. Smith, AR; as well as booked shows for Artifas and Scotty Austin, formerly of Saving Abel. On top of the Artists, we also added 2 new team members as of May 2022.

Rick Soeprasetyo in Rockford, IL and Brent Kriner from Biloxi, MS. Together they bring over 22 years of experience to the table.

MK Music lands 6 Artists on the Cajun Heartland State Fair!

This is unprecedented for MK Music having landed 6 of our bands on the Cajun Heartland State Fair at the grounds of the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA!

Lowerline, Undivided Band, The Almas, 308 Ghost Train, Scotty Austin, formerly of Saving Abel and Mind of Fury will be representing MK Music this year and it is a strong showing!

Lowerline and Undivided perform on May 27. The Almas and 308 Ghost Train on May 30. Scotty Austin on May 31 and Mind of Fury on June 3

308 GHOST TRAIN - 308GT hit the road for the first leg of their "Full Steam Ahead" tour. With the first show at The Haven in Winter Park, Fl and wrapping up in St. Louis on June 18. 308GT just released their brand new single "Paper Ships" (released on May 13th) which has hit #1 in Australian Radio!

MODERN MIMES - Modern Mimes released a new cover of Sevendust's "My Ruin" on May 13th and has been raved by radio programmers and gaining over 500 YT views in 4 hours! Modern Mimes will be on the "Resume Game" tour as direct support for Artifas (Imagen Records) starting in June. MM also participated in a podcast with BleachBangs.com and will air soon.

PUMP 5 - Pump 5 will kicking off a Midwest tour in Denver, CO on June 30th and will travel out for 8 shows in 11 days, ending at Leftwoods in Amarillo, TX.

4MAG NITROUS - Gonzales, LA based hard rock/metal band known for having their music on hit shows like "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and "Monster Garage", 4MAG Nitrous has signed with MK Music and with Sodeh Records (Canada) they will have a new album coming this fall as well as new shows, videos and more. Stay tuned!

CC STORM - CC Storm and the Aftermath released "Beck and Call" produced by Brandon Wolfe. "Beck & Call" was featured on FoqusTV and has been gaining momentum.

LOWERLINE - Lowerline has new shows coming up as well. Aside from their first ever appearance at the Cajun Heartland State Fair, to performing at Phil Brady's with Them Guys in Baton Rouge and being direct support for Scotty Austin, formerly of Saving Abel on June 8.

THE ALMAS - The Almas will be performing their first time at the Cajun Heartland State Fair in Lafayette, LA before heading to the Studio in Nashville, TN to work on production of a new EP. In June the band will also hit the road again on the "Mama We're All Crazy" tour with Texas rock band The Ratchet Dolls through July 23.

THE ALIVE - The Alive were part of the MK Music Showcase in Ft. Worth and didn't disappoint. They will be adding new shows shortly. As well as the brand new video for their new single "Come Get Some" that will be premiered exclusively on FoqusTV.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Allee of MK Music. Kim and her soon to be step daughter, Gracie passed away in a House fire on Sunday 2/13/22. Our condolences to her family. Our family will deeply miss you and bright light you shined on the company. MK Music, RFL Records and the Jeff Carlson Band dedicate the "Over My Shoulder" tour to celebrate the lives of Kim and Gracie. You'll forever be a part of our family!

JEFF CARLSON BAND - JCB are announcing a massive Spring tour tomorrow! Kicking off with an 9 day residency at Six Flags in Arlington, TX, The "Over My Shoulder" tour will hit 24 cities across the US and span several states!

THE ALMAS - Are on the road again, this time as support for Smile Empty Soul and Autumn Academy! What a way to kick off 2022. The band was supposed to jump on tour with OTEP and The World Over, unfortunately for health reasons, that tour was cancelled. We do see a bright tour future for The Almas. In January the band released "Reflection", their newest single available on all streaming platforms. "Reflection" deals with Depression and awareness for this silent killer.

308 GHOST TRAIN - Straight out of Cortez, FL and anchored by 2 Disabled Veterans, 308 GHOST TRAIN is literally going full stream ahead! 308GT is headed for success having amassed 50,000,000 streams on SoundCloud, as well as partnering with HUVI TV for a new reality TV Series "On The Rise". We are working on a brand new tour nationwide and many many things to come!

C.C. STORM AND THE AFTERMATH - Coming out of Las Vegas, C.C. Storm and the Aftermath. Their brand new single "Beck and Call" to be released independently via Distrokid on Feb. 25! This is the first new single with his new band and his first new single in 6 years. The new album "Rise The Horizon" will be out later this year. CC has been taking Spotify by Storm garnering over 200,000 streams and over 11,000 followers on his profile!

TOMMY GIBBONS - Tommy had a successful tour with Smile Empty Soul this fall and is currently featured on FoqusTV

LOWERLINE - Had a tremendous radio campaign with "Heavy Waters" reaching #3 on the Foundations SMR Charts and #20 on Billboard Mainstream Rock Indicator Charts! While also scooping up "Best Music Video Award of Merit" from the Vegas Movie Awards (IMDB Qualifying Festival) and 25 Canadian Rock Stations! In December the band will perform with Liliac and Silverdose at the Basin Music Hall in Baton Rouge, LA Dec. 3! Lowerline will also have "Heavy Waters" added to FoqusTV!

SHIMMER JOHNSON - Released a new rock project produced out of her Edmonton Studio, Circle The Wolves which got aired on the iHeart Rock Station in Edmonton! The album released digitally and is available on all streaming platforms!

THE ALMAS - Completed a very successful tour with A Light Divided and got to meet with Centent Cymbals in South Carolina! The band also got to meet and speak with hit producer Peter Rafelson! (300 Million Albums, 30 #1 albums, Madonna, Jackson Browne, The Bangles, Glee Soundtracks and more!) The band is also going to be on the rescheduled Otep Tour "Sermons of Fire" that will resume in Feb. 2022 coast to coast!

MIND OF FURY - MOF had a very successful show at Rocklahoma in September 2021 and was just added and is now featured on FoqusTV with 2 of their music videos!

THE JEFF CARLSON BAND - JCB went through some line up changes. Please help us welcome Kory Brown on guitar and Nathaniel Welch on drums! JCB will be performing at the World Famous Whiskey A GoGo in Los Angeles, CA with John Corabi on Dec. 9, 2021! Big plans for JCB in 2022 starting with a Spring tour going from Los Vegas to Pittsburgh, PA and back! JCB will also be releasing a new single for 2022 produced by Mark Slaughter!

BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN - Is now a featured artist on FoqusTv and released a new single "Really Alive". The drummer, Dylan Kidner, also released a solo single as well and is a VJ at FoqusTV along with Alex Ceccabang the bassist for BWM!

FAREWELL TO FEAR - SIGNED A WORLDWIDE RECORD DEAL WITH GOLDEN ROBOT RECORDS!! FtF landed a new home for an up and coming full length album for 2022! Their first full length since the 2018 "Voices" release! Golden Robot is home to huge brands like KingsX, Filter, Jefferson Starship, Riley's LA Guns, Gillby Clark and more!

Huge news in the coming weeks on a new single! Be ready for REBEL ROCK FEST!!

LOWERLINE - Has been Killing it radio for the past couple months, with "Heavy Waters" reaching (So far) #28 on Billboard MRI and #21 on Foundations SMR while also adding 14 Canadian Rock Stations across Canada! "Heavy Waters" also made the Hall of Fame on Both WHMH and Rockfile Radio! The Music Video for "Heavy Waters" was also nominated for 2 Vegas Movie Awards for "Best Music Video" and "Best New Director"! "Heavy Waters" was also featured on Loudwire's Spotify Playlist! The band has also added a couple of new shows including supporting Liliac in December!

THE ALMAS - Announced their "Casual Encounters" Summer Tour with the release of the "Casual Encounters" music video and with huge shows Supporting Royal Bliss and Saving Abel and Royal Bliss 2 days later for WIIL - Chicago! The band will be touring had the rest of the summer! The Almas are then hitting road this fall with A Light Divided as direct support, and in November kick off a late fall tour with Otep, The World Over and Sepsiss! The Almas landed new endorsements with Scorpion Percussion, WB Gear, GHS Strings and InEarZ Monitors! The Almas were also featued on Songwriter Sessions on WZLQ and KOCI! BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN - Announced a new show for August 28,th with proceeds going to No Kill Animal Shelters around Arizona after a torn bicep injury to Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist John Adams sidelined them most of the summer! The band is also releasing a new single "Really Alive" July 30th!

MIND OF FURY - MK Music welcomes Mind Of Fury from Orlando, FL to our family. MOF is signed to RFL Records. Their upcoming show in Winter Haven, FL on August 7 is a warm up for their upcoming performance at Rocklahoma in September!

SHIMMER JOHNSON - Continues to work her tail off! The "Inner Me" album continues to pick up warm reception all over Europe, especially the UK. "Its Fates Turn" is the 4th hit single from the "Inner Me" album. Her cover of "Toy Soldiers" was nominated to be on the ballot for a GRAMMY Award! (Grammy Ballots are official nominations) Shimmer was also featured on Momma Mary's Mayhem Podcast as well as Songwriter Sessions on WZLQ and KOCI.

JEFF CARLSON BAND - After getting some spectacular press for the release of his new single "Fire", the new album "Yesterday's Gone" has already surpassed the labels distributors' expectations and we're still in pre-order!! Jeff's new single is already catching radio play on some internet stations in the UK. His single will also be featured on FCK.FM's New Rock Order in the coming weeks. LOWERLINE - SIGNS WORLDWIDE RECORD DEAL WITH RFL RECORDS! The official press release went out today 03/05/21

that Lowerline became part of the RFL Records family. Their new EP "Heavy Waters" will be released TBA. Their lead off single and title track will also be impacting radio TBA. Special Thanks to Ryan Toussel of1 3 Studios and Damien Starkey of Red Attic Studios.

BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN - Has a new single releasing March 12, 2021. You can now pre-save "Dance" on all streaming platforms! "Hangman" was featured on South Devon Sound in the UK last week.

THE JEFF CARLSON BAND - Also has a brand new single, "Fire" releasing March 23, 2021 and the new full length album "Yesterday's Gone" will be releasing on RFL Records on April 26, 2021. The album will feature Mark Slaughter as a guest guitarist on the bands rendition of the Journey song "LaDoDa". "Screamin Inside" was featured on South Devon Sound in the UK this past week. "Juke Box Hero" made FCK.FM's Top 10 Most Played in February in Germany!

SHIMMER JOHNSON - released a new full length album "Inner Me" independently in February 2021. The single "Priceless" is charting at #12 on the Worldwide Indie Music Charts! CBS also approved her single video and it will air on their "Saturday Sessions" sometime in the near future!

TOMMY GIBBONS - Continues his upward success. In January he released the instrumental "Cyber Kaiju" which has gained over 12,000 Streams! His new single "Abandoned" (Co-written with Scott Wilson of Saving Abel) released online on all streaming platforms on February 26, 2021. On the same night, he performed a live stream on VX3 showcasing his new band!

The next day he was on Rock The Dream which aired "Tonight" on Q102!

"Abandoned" will be impacting radio on March 16, 2021! Tommy also wrapped a song for an MMA Fighter.

FAREWELL TO FEAR - Is working on new music! Mike Craig was spotted in Phoenix, AZ at KMS Studios with Tommy Gibbons working on new material. Farewell to Fear will be on the mainstage of Rebel Rock Fest in September!

BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN - The last band to chart for MK Music in 2020, is also the first band to be on the charts for 2021!!

"Hangman" locked in at #39 for the Christmas Break but leaped up to #36 on it's final week which charted 1/05/2021 on Billboard MRI and #28 on Foundations SMR.

LOWERLINE - Got together for a group listening session to finalize any changes need to the mixes for the upcoming "Heavy Waters" EP release coming this Spring! A little BBQ, a lot of music, some contract reading and camaraderie; this was a great Saturday afternoon hang out session.

BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN becomes the 3rd MK Music Artist to have a Billboard MRI Charting single in 2020! "Hangman" made it into the Top 40 on Billboard MRI at #39 and reached the Top 30 on Foundations SMR! Over 750 reported spins!

TOMMY GIBBONS released "Red Flag" Acoustic single and video on December 18, 2020. Tommy now also has his own signature guitar pickups designed by Jank Tone! "Red Flag" reached 97,000 Streams on Spotify, inching closer to the 100,000 stream goal. Tommy will doing a radio interview with Boston Rock Radio on Jan. 8, 2021 to kick off the new year!

LOWERLINE continues to make strides on their 2021 release. They have enlisted Producer Damien Starkey (Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Farewell to Fear) to make this EP super-bangin!

SHIMMER JOHNSON continues a strong push with "Never Be The Same" which has now been ranked in the Top 10 on Indie Rampage Radio at #9!

BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN continues up the Foundations Chart with another solid week. Reaching upwards from #39 to #32!

They were added to another rock station in Charlottesville, VA as well. "Hangman" was also put on a hold status to possibly be put in a specialty publishing catalog with a large independent publisher for sync licensing opportunities! "Retribution" was in the Boston Rock Radio Charts again this week!

SHIMMER JOHNSON released a new single "Sweet Lies" as "Never Be The Same" continues it's Spotify climb with nearly 60,000 Streams!

FAREWELL TO FEAR's single "Fire" is about to eclipse 100,000 Spotify Streams currently sitting at 99,073! FtF was also interviewed for GSLADE Podcast this week.

TOMMY GIBBONS released the music video for "Tonight" last week. And announced a new release for Dec. 18, 2020! Tommy will be on the GSLADE Podcast again talking about his solo project. "Red Flag" is about to eclipse 100,000 Streams now over 97,000 on Spotify.

MK MUSIC Artists contributed to a combined total over 843,000 Streams this year on Spotify!!

This is a monumental achievement! Next year we should hit well over 1,000,000 Spotify Streams as a whole!

BLACK WOLF MOUNTAIN continued with a strong showing this week at radio even with a plethora of heavy hitter releases.

While remaining at #39 on Foundations, they did move into the Top 50 on Billboard MRI and are close to a top 40 Debut! They ended the week picking up a solid additional 102 Spins! This week 668 Reported Spins on radio!

TOMMY GIBBONS Drops the video for "Tonight" on YouTube"! After a successful radio campaign the music video is dropping on YT today! The single "Tonight" hit #23 on Billboard MRI and shot up from #19 to #5 on Foundations SMR Charts!!

SHIMMER JOHNSON single "Never Be The Same" eclipses 44,000 Streams on Spotify! And the single was added to CKMW-FM, a Country Station as a crossover! It was also added to the "Pop since 20's" playlist on Spotify!

TOMMY GIBBONS is having a historical career week! His single climbed to #28 on Billboard MRI, and #19 on Foundations while also eclipsing 77,000 Streams with "Tonight" and "Red Flag" eclipsing the 96,000 Stream mark on Spotify! He also climbed 5 spots to #30 on Foundations Secondary Market Radio as well. A total 34 Stations have added the single and 734 Reported Spins this week!

MK Music Alums Lowerline have returned to studio for the first time after a 15 year break! While performing in 2015 at Twist of Lime in Metairie, LA marking the 10th year since Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans, new music was shared with an eager fan base and now, it's finally going into production!

08/08/2020 - Farewell to Fear Officially Charts on Billboard MRI in the Top 25!

Farewell to Fear officially entered the Top 25 at #25 on the Billboard MRI Chart and reached #13 on the Foundations Secondary Market Radio Charts. Both are high marks for the band since "Underneath My Skin" reached #29 and #11 Respectively.

"I Won't Be Your Tragedy" has well outperformed the previous single in Spin count (1,233 currently to 971 peak), Billboard Chart Position and number of radio stations adding and playing the song (45 to 31). This marks a significantly better performance at radio and it will continue to climb!
